The National Shooting Sports Foundation's Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) State Shoot was held here at the Hartford Conservation & Gun Club June 23rd 2007

This popular, fast-growing program utilizes a network of volunteer coaches and directors, providing young skeet, trap and sporting clays shooters an opportunity to compete for scholarship funds while earning state and national recognition. It's all designed to instill safe firearms handling, commitment, responsibility, leadership and teamwork. It's also a lot of fun! Developed and coordinated nationally by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

2009 AIM (Academics, Integrity, Marksmanship) New to Hartford and the Nation

This is a new youth program we are proud to be a part of. It focuses on team competition along with individual competition at all levels of Trapshooting. The age for this program includes 12 years old up to the collegiate (23 years of age) level. This year there will be fee associated with both programs (AIM and SCTP).

2009 Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP)

The SCTP focuses on Team competition. Anyone willing to donate their time will be helping a great program that is teaching our youth about shooting sports that have been dwindling every year. The SCTP is for youth ages 12 to K12. This year there will be fee associated with both programs (AIM and SCTP).

2009 Summer Youth Trap League:

The 2009 Youth Trap League will begin on Monday April 20th at 6:30 and end with awards and fun night on July 13th. The format of the league will be five person teams (you may have more shooters on your roster and shoot on more then one team), 25 targets per week, with scheduled shooting times. All kids ages 12 to 18 (per Wisconsin State Law) are welcome. These youth shooters are the future of shooting sports so come on out and get them interested. It doesn’t matter if you’re an avid or novice shooter, it’s all about having fun and learning the sport of trapshooting. For information regarding the youth program or to enroll a team or individual contact any of the above coaches.

Cost of shooting $2.00 per round of 25 targets. New shells for shooting league are available at $5.00 per box of 25. We are looking for help with sponsorship of the youth league. For info contact Gary DeSmidt at 262-692-9265 or Brad Koch at 262-224-4545
